Al Harris
“A simple thank you doesn’t seem enough for the gratitude I feel for the generosity and support the donors provide, but thank you for giving me back a big part of my life.”
My name is Alexander “Al or Albee” Harris. During my first pro motocross race, on August 19, 2018, my foot got pulled off of the bikes foot pegs and I went flipping over the handlebars, suffering a C-5 incomplete spinal cord injury.
Be Perfect has made a tremendous difference in my life and assisted in a great way. Because of Be Perfect, I get valuable time at The Perfect Step which has helped me regain a tremendous amount of movement and allows me more independence.
With the financial support of Be Perfect I have seen such great progress in my therapy at The Perfect Step or “TPS” in a short amount of time and now I know there is no limit on what I can do. The intense therapy at TPS is definitely one of the reasons I have made such great progress.
A few goals I’ve set are riding a bike again and walking across the stage at graduation. I have done both!
My next major goal is to ride a motorcycle again. Be Perfect will help me reach this goal by continuing to push me and build confidence in my abilities. I appreciate their “You can do it!”attitude.
A simple thank you doesn’t seem enough for the gratitude I feel for the generosity and support the donors provide, but thank you for giving me back a big part of my life.
