Thank you for caring enough with your generosity to give us the hope and ability to regain some of what we lost. I hope to give back one day if I am able to go back to work.

My name is Pablo Martinez and I suffered a stroke on January 22, 2016. I have aphasia, right-side weakness, right arm/hand paralysis, right leg weak, drop foot.

I have already seen quick gains through starting in the TPS program, as I feel both stronger and I am regaining independence. The Perfect Step has instilled hope into my life because they believe that exercise is medicine. Their goals are functional and will maximize my potential for all that I can be.

Aside from the amazing scholarship from The Be Perfect Foundation, they have also brought back hope into my life. Additionally, The Claremont Club access to me and my little family is awesome. Those small things are huge and appreciated.

I am able to take steps around the house, get in the car, fix a simple meal, bathe/dress & shave.

One of my future goals is to sleep in a regular bed (not a hospital bed) and sleep on my stomach, walk without a Hemi walker or wheelchair and without a brace, walk more normal, shower standing up, be able to have use of my right arm, drive again. These are just a few.

Thank you for caring enough with your generosity to give us the hope and ability to regain some of what we lost. I hope to give back one day if I am able to go back to work.
