Arthur Martinot
Arthur Martinot, a 44-year-old with a profound love for the outdoors, found his life irrevocably changed following a diving accident in Spain in July 2022. An avid enthusiast of the ocean, surfing, mountain biking, camping, and hiking, Arthur's passion for adventure was abruptly paused. Choosing to undergo rehabilitation in Spain, Arthur and his wife, Megan, did not return to their Los Angeles home but instead embarked on a new journey that led them to Casa Colina in Pomona, California, and eventually to Claremont, CA, to be near The Perfect Step and Casa Colina for continued rehabilitation.
Before his accident, Arthur was a successful production designer in Los Angeles, having built a thriving business since 2006. Now facing a new reality, Arthur is exploring the next chapter of his life with a mixture of uncertainty and hope. Central to his journey of recovery has been the unwavering support from his wife, Megan, who has been his caretaker and rock, guiding them through the challenges of rebuilding their lives.
The Be Perfect Foundation has played a pivotal role in Arthur's rehabilitation journey. The foundation's support has been critical in Arthur's participation in The Perfect Step's Paralysis Recovery Center program, contributing significantly to his continued successes and progress. This assistance underscores the importance of targeted support and community engagement in the lives of individuals navigating the complexities of paralysis.
Arthur expresses deep gratitude for the overwhelming love and support from friends, family, and the broader community, which has been transformative. This journey has not only been about physical recovery but also a profound personal transformation, making Arthur feel more connected to life than ever. He extends his heartfelt thanks to Megan, their friends, families, and all the supporters, including the Be Perfect Foundation, for their pivotal role in his ongoing journey of healing and rediscovery.
