Samuel Gallegos
“I am thankful for Be Perfect and donors for the generosity and treating me like family”
Samuel Gallegos was just 16 years old when his life took a dramatic turn. On April 10, 2022, he suffered a spinal cord injury in a car accident that left him paralyzed from C4 to C6. A passionate athlete in the middle of his high school baseball season, Samuel’s active lifestyle came to a sudden halt. The devastating injury brought significant challenges as he faced the long and difficult road to regain strength and independence.
Due to the severity of his injury, Samuel lost all movement from the chest down and now relies on the support of others for his daily exercises and activities. Through the generosity of the Be Perfect Foundation, Samuel received a grant that enabled him to begin therapy at The Perfect Step. The support has been crucial in helping him build strength and endurance in his body and giving him hope for the future.
“I am thankful for Be Perfect and donors for the generosity and treating me like family,” Samuel shared.
With the help of The Perfect Step, as well as encouragement from his family and friends, Samuel remains determined in his recovery journey. He looks forward to living life to the fullest again, including enjoying concerts and sporting events that once brought him joy.
