Emma Vargas
My name is Emma Rose Vargas. On January 12, 2020, I fell down a staircase at the age of two years old ultimately sustaining a T6 spinal cord injury.
Life thereafter was never going to be as I knew it as a very young kid, but it did not mean it could not still be great or even better. I ended up looking for an opportunity to get involved with therapy so I could continue to develop as a young kid.
I ended up having the opportunity to be treated at The Perfect Step. The Perfect Step has helped me with increasing my balance, my overall strength, and my mobility because of my increased upper body strength. I feel like I can be a mobile kid again excellent mission point
The Be Perfect Foundation has been such a blessing to me. You ultimately have helped me get to a team of people at TPS who have not only been welcoming and motivating towards my life, but also my therapist Ashton has made therapy both fun and easy.
My immediate goals are to be able to balance on my own by increasing my upper body strength, and I would like to continue to train harder while in therapy.
My long-term goal is to be able to fully mobilize on my own and to continue to work towards my goal of getting back on my feet and walking again. With your help that is possible.
