Thiago Pinheiro, whose life was profoundly altered by an auto accident on December 1st, 2022, resulting in a complex array of injuries including a brain injury, stroke, brachial plexus issues, nerve damage, and multiple fractures (ribs, right knee, right arm, left arm, and four fingers), wishes to convey his heartfelt appreciation to the Be Perfect Foundation. Their support has been pivotal in his journey toward recovery and a return to an independent and active lifestyle.
In the wake of his injuries, Be Perfect has extended vital assistance to Thiago. Their support has facilitated his access to crucial therapy at Beyond Therapy, particularly following his knee surgery. This assistance has been instrumental in his rehabilitation and has significantly contributed to his ability to regain independence and an active life.
Moreover, Be Perfect has reinstilled hope in Thiago's life. The prospect of achieving over 100 degrees of range of motion in his right knee holds the promise of a return to normalcy, enabling him to walk, sit, stand, and even drive once more. This renewed sense of hope has been a driving force in Thiago's recovery journey.
Thiago has already achieved notable milestones in his recovery, including regaining the ability to speak after five months of speech difficulties and regaining the ability to walk, having previously relied on a wheelchair due to a paralyzed leg.
Looking forward, Thiago envisions further progress with Be Perfect's assistance. He aspires to continue working towards bending his knee, recovering the movement in his right arm, and further improving his speech.
