Collin Bosse

Thank you so much for helping me take this major step in my recovery! I am so excited and grateful for your support!
— Collin Bosse

Collin Bosse’s journey took an unexpected turn on April 8, 2023, when he sustained a C5/C6 spinal cord injury during a diving accident in Mission Bay, San Diego. Since then, his determination to regain independence and lead an active life has been unwavering.

Through the generous support of the Be Perfect Foundation, Collin has received funding for a manual wheelchair that will play a vital role in his recovery. This new wheelchair not only helps him build arm and core strength but also empowers him to pursue independence in all aspects of his life. Reflecting on this support, Collin shared, “Be Perfect has given me the chance to feel more confident in my body and hope that I will be able to be independent in the future. I am excited to see where my life goes with this new wheelchair, which has been made possible with the help of Be Perfect.”

Collin has already achieved a significant milestone in his recovery by partially attaining his goal of transferring out of his chair independently. With his new wheelchair, he looks forward to continued improvement and reaching even greater levels of independence. One of his future goals is to transition to using his manual wheelchair 100% of the time without the assistance of a power chair—a goal he believes is within reach with the ongoing support of Be Perfect.

To the donors who have made this progress possible, Collin expresses heartfelt gratitude. “Thank you so much for helping me take this major step in my recovery! I am so excited and grateful for your support!”
