Hi, my name is Kylie Bahne! On April 22, 2020, I was with 2 of my friends when I attempted to do a somersault, immediately leaving me paralyzed from the chest down. I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and taken into emergency surgery, and I  was diagnosed with an incomplete spinal cord injury at the C6/c7 level. This happened right after everything had shut down from Covid, when I was away at college, 10 hours from home.
